Reel Grace offers healing and hope to kids, teens, and individuals struggling with life's
challenges-especially those facing depression, lack of direction, or emotional hardship. Through
guided fishing experiences, caring mentorship, and the peaceful beauty of nature, we create space
for connection, restoration, and the quiet presence of grace.
My name is Charlie Howell—and for as long as I can remember, fishing has been more than just a hobby for me. It’s been a lifeline.
There’s something about standing by still water, feeling the tug of a line, and being surrounded by the quiet beauty of nature that brings a kind of peace nothing else can. Over the years, through life’s storms—when I felt overwhelmed, directionless, or simply worn down—I always found calmness at the water’s edge. It was in those moments, casting and waiting, that I could breathe again. Think. Pray. Heal.
Fishing gave me something solid to hold on to. Not just the rod—but hope, rhythm, and space to reconnect with myself and with God. And as time went on, I began to realize something bigger: what fishing did for me, it could do for others too.
Especially for kids, teens, and people walking through hard seasons—those who feel like they’re alone, stuck, or forgotten. Some without guidance. Some facing emotional struggles. Some just needing someone to sit beside them and remind them that their story isn’t over.
That’s why I started Reel Grace.
To offer what helped me—peace, purpose, and presence—to others.
We pair simple fishing experiences with heartfelt mentorship, gentle encouragement, and nature’s healing touch. No pressure. No judgment. Just people showing up for each other, one cast at a time.
Because sometimes, grace shows up not in a sermon or a speech, but in the stillness of water… the patience of waiting… and the quiet joy of a first catch.
At Reel Grace, we believe every cast is a new beginning.
And we’re here to help others discover that, too.
